Kapalua

Champagne Hale at Cliff House

1 BAY DRIVE, LAHAINA, MAUI

A gorgeous, pop-up bar + lounge for guests and locals to experience the finest Maui sunsets while enjoying a variety of champagnes perfectly paired with an innovative dining menu. Previously at the Champagne Hale at Cliffhouse, Veuve Clicquot Rich and Rich Rose, Champagne cocktails graced the glasses of this beautiful event.

Merriman’s Kapalua: Point Lounge

1 Bay Club Pl, Lahaina, MAUI 96761

My favorite place to enjoy a sunset + cocktails: the Point Lounge at Merriman’s Kapalua encompasses everything you want during aloha hour. Live music daily, cheap drinks and perfectly sized pupus to share. On the liquid front: the Merriman’s mai tai is a no-brainer. If you’re afternoon appetite has accompanied you, would suggest the kalua pig quesadilla, prime filet & bacon sliders and the artisanal + farmhouse cheese selection.

The Plantation House

2000 Plantation Club Dr Lahaina, maui

Overlooking the 18th hole of the gorgeous Bay Course is The Plantation House. We adore coming here for breakfast to watch the clouds cruise over the rolling green. The Plantation House’s breakfast spread delight diners with locally sourced fruits and vegetables. Typically no need to make a reservation, as the bar serves as the perfect area to look over the incredible views and enjoy an adult beverage as you wait.

600 Office Road, Kapalua, Lahaina, maui

Rolls and (rock &) roll: Sansei’s late night happy hour on Thursdays and Fridays are accompanied by the finest karaoke in Maui! Expect a small wait, as the prices are unbeatable. Some of my top recommendations here include the matsuhisa style miso butterfish, shrimp dynamite and panko-crusted ahi.

2000 Village Road, Lahaina, Maui

After you’re finished at the driving at The Bay Course, take a short stroll over to Taverna to enjoy some of Maui’s finest cocktails. I’m a sucker for their refreshing House of Savoy (Gin, Aperol, Pineapple, Lemongrass, Lemon & Bitters) & my boyfriend tends to op for their Old Fashioned (Whitsle Pig 10yr Rye, Bitters + Orange). On the food-fare front: their Pappardell Con Ragu di Agnello is a tasty dish with a beautifully generous amount of sauce - which I’m all about. Their Caprese is experiential for eaters, served with an eyedropper filled with their balsamic vinegar for you to dress the dish yourself. One of my favorite parts about their menu? The desserts are visually stunning (& equally delicious) and an unheard of price at just $6 each!
