Kohola Brewery
910 Honoapilani hwy lahaina, maui
Kohola is Lahaina's own local brewery. Kohola Brewery offers seasonal flavors alongside year-round offerings that stay true to Maui's. What has impressed me most about Kohola is their pairing series. They've teamed up with local specialty shops to create custom pairings alongside four of their brews with foods like cheesecake (with Maui Sweet Cakes), BBQ (with Fat Daddy's Smokehouse) & chocolate truffles (with Sweet Paradise Chocolatier) - and these are just the handful I've been able to make it to the past few months.
Maui Ku'ia Estate Chocolate
78 Ulupono St, Suite 1 lahaina, maui
What a privilege it is to have MKEC in our Maui community 🍫 The storytelling, quality of the chocolate and the integrity of the way this company is doing business made me tear up at a Saturday morning tasting benefiting Maui Food Bank. The expansive rooftop lanai provides the perfect backdrop for the most incredible chocolate I’ve ever tasted. Enjoy flavor profiles featuring blood orange, lemon grass and my favorite: mango! Take a peek at their Tasting Calendar here. Needless to say, I look forward to many more moments here!
Lahaina Grill
127 Lahainaluna Road Lahaina, maui
What’s there to be said about Lahaina Grill that hasn’t already been said. The finest dining experience on island - and just recently voted TripAdvisor’s Travelers’ Choice #9 Best Restaurant in the United States & the accolades don’t do this culinary landmark half the justice it deserves. Whether you go with the Wagyu Beef Ravioli that dances among porcini, portobello, braised apple around a sea mushroom-brandy cream sauce or the beautiful, melt in your mouth boneless short rib, you’re leaving with a smile on your face.
Oku’s Sushi Bar at Kobe
136 Dickenson Street, Lahaina, Maui
Truly a master of his domain, my boyfriend describes Oku as the fabric of our Maui community because of his dedication to his craft. With limited seats within his bar, get there early or be ready to be patient to enjoy Maui’s best sushi. Oku is a warrior behind his bar, some of the favorites in our group are his spicy octopus + whipped scallop with vegetables.
Ululani Shave Ice
790 Front Street, Lahaina, maui
Shave ice - note: not shaved ice - is a must eat while you're in Maui. And Ululani's is the place to eat it. With over 45 syrup flavors and incredible menu preset recommendations (IE No Ka Oi: Coconut, Mango, Liliko’i), you and your tastebuds cannot afford to miss out on Maui shave ice. Because I care: get macadamia nut ice cream at the base & top off with condensed milk!
Star Noodle
286 Kupuohi Street, Lahaina, Maui
Make reservations or prepare to wait, but the wait is well worth it. Family style is the absolute way to go, so I recommend low-key only going with friends or family who have similar taste buds as you, if possible #maximumfoodexperience
